There’s such a lot of living to do
We’re on Cloud Nine. Or is it Cloud Ten? Maybe Ocean’s Eleven. Flying down to Rio, Acapulco and later, Havana then on to Vegas. Arriving on a balmy, tropical night we dive into ice-blue pools and with a long cocktail, we watch the sun set. In the midnight blue 39,000 feet above our heads, we see a tail-light of a 707 twinkling among the stars. We’re there. Drinking in a different atmosphere.
About the Range
Pan Am rye grain Vodka
A 100% rye grain spirit, re-distilled with a small amount of rye malt to add a sweet, creamy mouthfeel. After distillation, we slowly trickle our spirit through a deep bed of coconut charcoal, enhancing the creamy character with a touch of sweetness.
Tasting Notes
Enticing notes of warm pepper lead to full bodied vanilla on the nose. Rich and velvety in texture, light notes of vanilla sway between sweet and savoury with hints of black pepper and spice. Enjoy a finish of creamy nuttiness.
pan am london dry gin
Lemon-centric on the nose with a contrasting but subtle earthy character. Enjoy spicy but extremely smooth juniper, pepper and coriander seed on the palate, balanced by a light and refreshing citrus.
Tasting Notes
This first-class gin soars with strong notes of juniper and prominent note of angelica and a classic bass notes of cassia, nutmeg with zesty lemon top notes.
Pan Am – The Legend
From it’s birth in 1927, Pan American World Airways was the pioneer airline whose routes spanned 6 continents and more than 80 countries. Pan Am was a byword for luxury where celebrities from Elizabeth Taylor to the Beatles, to Princess Grace of Monaco used the gangway like their own private red carpet. The opulence extended to the fine five-star cuisine and the finest cocktails served during the flight.
Pan Am’s proud, professional and glamorous crew who worked during this dazzling era of air travel were a huge part of the luxurious experience. They had an attitude where they could find a solution for everything, and of course, they could always mix you an incredible cocktail.
Pan am rye grain Vodka Serves
Vodka Martini
Stir 60ml Pan Am Vodka with a dash of dry vermouth in a mixing glass with ice, strain into a chilled martini glass and garnish with lemon peel
Bloody Mary
Combine 50ml Pan Am Vodka, 250ml tomato juice, a teaspoon of lemon juice a dash of Worcestershire sauce into a high ball glass over ice and garnish with a celery stick and black pepper
Pan Am London dry gin
Gin Martini
Pour 50ml Pan Am Gin and a teaspoon of
dry vermouth into a mixing glass filled with ice and stir until chilled and strain into a martini glass
Tom Collins
Build 50ml Pan Am Gin, 25ml
Lemon Juice, 25ml Sugar Syrup in
a highball glass filled with ice stir
gently, top with soda and garnish
with an orange slice
